BHF Announces new board members and officers

The Bryce Harlow Foundation has appointed new officers and nine new board members.

At the recent Foundation board meeting, the following government relations professionals joined the board for three-year terms: Jane Adams, Vice President, Federal Government Affairs for Johnson & Johnson; Kirk Blalock, principal at Fierce Government Relations; Steve Caldeira, president and CEO of the Household and Commercial Products Association (formerly known as the Consumer Specialty Products Association); Lori Denham, principal at Kontoupes Denham Carr & Reid; Danny Diaz, founding partner of FP1 Strategies; Chris Leahy, Vice President and Head of Government Relations and Public Policy at Bayer; Nancy LeaMond, Executive Vice President and Chief Advocacy Engagement Officer at AARP; Lynn Taylor, Senior Vice President, Head of Global Healthcare Government and Public Affairs at Merck; and Stephanie Tomasso, Association Practice Lead at Russell Reynolds Associates.

The Foundation also welcomed new officers. Dawn Sweeney, president and CEO at the National Restaurant Association, was named chairman. She replaces Craig Purser, president and CEO at the National Beer Wholesalers Association, whose one-year term as chairman expired. Rich Gold, partner at Holland & Knight LLP, was appointed vice chairman and Katherine Lugar, president and CEO of the American Hotel and Lodging Association, was named secretary/treasurer.
